The rectangular format — two hundred watts for a 2' × 4'. This is the lamp for long shelves and narrow tents, the one that lights a row rather than a square, and it's a format many indoor gardeners discover too late: a long narrow surface is often far easier to fit into a basement than an equivalent square.
What's inside: Samsung LM301B diodes, the proven reference of Samsung's white series, and a Mean Well driver. That last point deserves a pause, because it's the one nobody looks at when buying: in an LED lamp it's rarely the diodes that give out, it's the power supply. A recognized-brand driver is what separates a lamp that gets through five seasons from one that goes dark during the second.
The spectrum is full — meaning it covers the whole range useful to photosynthesis rather than only the red and blue peaks of the old “blurple” panels. A practical advantage that's often forgotten: under a full spectrum, plants look their normal colour, and you spot a deficiency, an early yellowing or an aphid immediately. Under violet light everything looks violet, and problems show up too late.
In our range, it's the natural companion to the narrow 140 × 70 cm tent, whose footprint matches its coverage almost exactly.
