We do everything we can to shrink our ecological footprint and respect the environment, with products that contain no chemical agents and are non-GMO.
We're zero plastic. We reuse every bit of packaging material we can find and avoid over-packaging, our seed packets are smaller and made of recyclable paper, our labels are made of recycled paper, our seed bags are recyclable and our bubble mailers are compostable. Our operations are as sustainable as we can make them.
All our ecological seeds come from certified growers, but we're not allowed to advertise it because we aren't certified ourselves. 📜
Either way, we think our ecological seeds beat the alternative-that-must-not-be-named, because at Joual Vert everything is done to leave the smallest possible mark on the environment: no chemicals, no plastic, with materials that are 100% compostable, reused, recycled or recyclable — unlike that famous alternative. 🌎
Most of our seeds come from us and from local growers, but we also carry a few harder-to-find varieties from Asia and Europe. All our suppliers are non-GMO, heirloom or organic.
