A specialist's microgreen — much slower and more capricious than average, but one that rewards patience with an elegant, refined result. Small, fine, thread-like shoots with light, feathery foliage already recalling the foliage of the adult carrot — in tender green.

Surprising flavour: concentrated mature-carrot sweetness, with herbaceous notes evoking parsley and chervil (the carrot belongs to the same botanical family — the Apiaceae). Delicate, fragile texture, almost ephemeral on the tongue. Typically gastronomic use: final garnish on a chef's plate, on a bed of glazed carrots (mother-child visual effect), on ceviche, on carrot risotto, on a cold carrot-orange soup, or simply laid on a slice of fresh goat cheese.

Important note: carrot is NOT recommended for jar sprouting (seeds too slow, high mould risk) — reserve exclusively for tray culture on potting mix.

• Microgreen harvest: 16 to 25 days after sowing (one of the longest cycles).
• Yield: about 2 teaspoons of seeds produces a 20 × 20 cm tray of microgreens.
